Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) by Molecuar PCR UTIs are common infections that happen when bacteria, often from the skin or rectum, enter the urethra, and infect the urinary tract. UTIs are among the most common types of illnesses among all ages. UTI by Molecular PCR prevents delays in diagnosis & treatment and exhibits greater accuracy for detection of bacteria. Conventional laboratory culture techniques can take 3-7 days to return. Symptoms include, but are not limited to: • Pain or burning while urinating • Frequent urination • Feeling the need to urinate despite having an empty bladder • Bloody urine • Pressure or cramping in the groin or lower abdomen
